A Binance and Bybit trading bot that can't withdraw
AI Trading Fleet trades perpetual futures on your own Binance or Bybit account from launch on 23 October 2026. You connect an API key that can trade but not withdraw; keys with withdrawal permission are refused at connection. Strategies go through paper and the exchange testnet before real orders, and every order passes limits the server enforces.
What does "trade-only" mean here?
An exchange API key has separate permissions for reading, trading and withdrawing. The Fleet asks for read and trade only. If a key with withdrawal permission is connected, it is rejected, so the Fleet has no path to move money out of your account. Keys you connect are encrypted at rest.
How do I make a trade-only key?
- Open API management in your Binance or Bybit account and create a new key for the Fleet only.
- Turn on reading and futures (derivatives) trading.
- Leave withdrawals off.
- If the exchange offers IP restriction, turn it on once you know which addresses to allow.
- Store nothing else with it, and delete the key on the exchange the moment you stop using the Fleet.
Exact labels differ between the two exchanges and change over time; the rule is the same: trading on, withdrawals off.
The ladder to real money
Every crypto strategy climbs the same steps: signal (scores the market, sends nothing), paper (simulated fills on live data), testnet (the real order path on the exchange sandbox, no real money), then live. Controlled live needs a testnet track record of at least 30 days first.
To go live, a strategy has to clear all five at once, measured on its paper account: a Brier score under 0.22, a win rate of at least 58%, a Sharpe ratio of at least 1.5, over a rolling 90-day window, with at least 30 resolved predictions. Miss one and it stays where it is.
What limits apply to perpetuals?
- Kill switch or halt active: every order is refused.
- Daily loss cap reached: trading stops for the day.
- Drawdown halt reached: trading stops.
- Strategy on paper or retired: no real order is sent.
- Edge after fees or confidence below your floor: the Fleet stays flat.
- Size is cut to fit your caps per strategy, per venue, per position and per market.
Perpetual futures use leverage, so losses can grow fast and positions can be liquidated. A limit is checked before each order; it cannot stop the market moving against a position you already hold.
Questions
Can AI Trading Fleet withdraw from my Binance or Bybit account?
No. It only accepts keys without withdrawal permission and refuses any key that has it.
Does it trade spot or futures?
At launch it trades perpetual futures on Binance and Bybit.
Can I stop it instantly?
Yes. The kill switch halts every strategy at once, and you can also delete the API key on the exchange at any time.
